**** Every boy deserves a trained leader ****

First, you must create an online account @ http://www.scouting.org/Applications/MyScoutingFull.aspx.
Next, all parents and adults partners must take the Youth Protection Training course.
1. Online Youth Protection Training: (~15 min) The Boy Scouts of America has developed Youth Protection training to prepare its leaders to help children who have been, or are being, abused. Materials are for use in pack and den meetings to show Cub Scouts and their parents what they should do to prevent abuse from happening to them.
Once your account has been created and you have completed the Youth Protection training, you can continue to take additional courses on the training portal. You do not have to be a leader to take these courses. You will be better informed of the cubscouting program.
2. Fast Start Training: Proper training lays the groundwork for success in their leadership roles. This training will help new leaders understand what is expected and establish effective meeting patterns so that the boys and their families can enjoy a quality program from the start.
3. Leaders & Volunteers: use the Fast Tracks program for specific den meeting plans... Fast Tracks for Den specific meeting plans)

Launch Fast Tracks. FAST TRACKS is a series of den meeting plans (two den meetings per month) designed to be used in conjunction with the youth handbooks. By following the prescribed den meeting plans as written, the boys will fulfill the requirements necessary to earn the badge of rank by early spring.
