Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award: Tiger Cubs, Wolf and Bear Cub Scouts, and Webelos Scouts have the opportunity to earn the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award. This award recognizes the Scout's participation in outdoor recreation and conservation projects, and can often be earned in conjunction with other Scouting activities.Click here.
National Summertime Pack Award:
Cub World: come on out to Webelos Woods (5/9-11 or 5/16-18) , Webelos Camp (7/8-11), Day Camp, and Cub/Parent Wknd* this summer. Costs are $18/person, $240/person, $270 wk/scout, $48/person, respectively. Class 3 Medical forms are required.

We are a small group of boys, from grades 1-5 meeting in North Valley Stream, NY. We are a family friendly pack and encourage that all family members be involved. We have participated in various district and council events (Valley Stream Camporee, Scoutwalk, Klondike Derby at Valley Stream Park, Pinewood Derby, 10 Commandment Hike, Scout Sunday, Religious Activities, etc.), as well as our own events and activities (Pack Pinewood Derby, Service Projects, Scouting for Food, Scout Sunday, NBC Studios in NYC, Captain Pete's Chartered Fishing trip, Visit to the Village Court Hall with Judge Robert Bogle, tug-of-wars, airplane building, camping with Troop 116 at William H. Pouch Scout Camp located on Staten Island, Orienteering with Troop 601 at the Muttontown Preserve, Readyman Activity badge sponsored by Troop 601, the Interfaith Nutrition NetworK (INN) shared with us the issues of hunger & homelessness on Long Island, Ron Gelardi & Melissa Henneman from the Department of Environmental Conservation showed the pack NYS animal skulls & skins, and our pack performed Color Guard duties, lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance for the Valley Strem Council of PTA's at their 12th Annual Legislative Breakfast and also had the privledge of taking photo's with Senator Dean Skelos, Assemblyman Bob Barra and Legislator Bob Ciotti. Pack 106 visited Theodore Rooservelt's "Sagamore Hill" Home in Oyster Bay participated in the Junior Ranger Program. They cleaned litter/stacked logs at Beaver Day Work Project at Schiff Scout Reservation sponsored by . We also had participation in the Summer Boy Scout Camp at Shiff Scout Reservation and Cub-Parent Weekend in 2007, Webelos Woods in 2008, and participated in the Valley Stream Memorial Day Parade, Fishing Clinic and Open House at Schiff Scout Reservation.

Our den meetings are held on 1st a& 2nd Friday nights at 7:30pm at Howell Road School in the Lunch room (3rd week held at New Hope Luthern Church) and Pack meetings are held at New Hope Luthern Church once a month on Friday nights at 7:30pm. Location may change, so please contact the cubmaster.
We are desiring to do alot this year and would love for your family to join us! Adult volunteers are always welcome and we will provide the training you need.
